My windowblinds skin (Black Vista Basic) submission gets turfed a little while after being submitted

Basically the title says it all,
I submit a windowsblind skin with preview image and my skin's wba file and it shows up under "Awaiting Moderation", I check a little while later and it's gone from there. It hasn't been approved, it's just removed.

What's going on? This is the 2nd windowblinds skin I've submitted that appears to be deleted and I haven't rec'd an email telling me that it was rejected. I regularly submit bootskins and have never had this problem before. Even with the bootskins that get rejected, I get an email saying it's been rejected.

Anyone have any ideas? I don't think my windowblinds skin is illegal, I haven't just taken someone else's skin and passed it off as my own, it just a basic windows vista skin, I've spent some time working on it and making it look half-decent. I would hope it's not being deleted because someone feels there are too many vista windowblinds skins.

there's the rub, it sits in moderation for a little while (maybe an hour) and then gets deleted, no email is rec'd telling me it's rejected. Weird huh?!

It doesn't get deleted. There is a problem right now that they are aware of. It is still in moderation I would imagine. You are not the only one. An upload of mine "disappeared", but was actually still there. Also it can take up to 5 days to get through moderation. Someone that is in the know will probably come along and tell you it's in the que.

I hope they don't get upset that I've resubmitted the same windowblinds skin several times now.

Yes...it's in the Queue....'if' it is moderated you will get an email....

Sorry about they hysterics on my part Jafo,
didn't want to step on anyone's toes and reading my original post it would seem I was screaming that the sky was falling,
I was just curious as to why the submissions were "disappearing",

My guess would be a cache update issue between various vers of the site...eg...Admin, 2K7test and 'normal'....

The windowblind project was approved and was released for download.
Thank you all for your replies to my original post.

However, I goofed and updated the image on the skin and now it's back awaiting moderation.

Look for it soon, it should be released again within a few days I hope.
I got some good feedback on it already too, it got me fired up to work on another windowblind skin, I'll let you know when it's ready.

I've been doing bootskins for a while, never realized creating windowblinds could be so fun as well!
